Living the Car Enthusiast Lifestyle

It’s been a long time since I’ve done anything to my car, so I’m guessing this weekend, I’m going to put all schoolwork aside to…

  • Buff up my headlights to make them clear again.
  • Wash my car.
  • Paint my grill black (maybe?)
  • Look for new headlights so I can go ahead and save up to buy them
  • Maybe new tails as well.
  • Oh, and wheels.

This forever has been my favorite picture of my car.

This forever has been my favorite picture of my car.

Sometimes I feel that my car has an “aura” to it, like it has something other cars don’t even though it’s just like every car out there.

I’ve nearly been in 3-4 major accidents and surprisingly, I think my car saved me from being in an accident. It’s a bit weird but my mind works in weird ways. For me to “think” that my car has an aura to it makes me love it so much more.

I have a buddhist “charm” necklace thing in my car hanging from my mirror. I never took it off because I believe that my car is protected when it’s on. My family is really religious, and while I’m not, I still keep it on there for good luck. I guess it’s the “aura” that surrounds my car.

I’m very grateful for my car.

I didn’t buy it (sort of obvious really). My mom did, and it was her car when she was planning to start driving soon. I think she still is but she’s waiting for me to get another car until she can drive again.

Anyways, I’m grateful for my car, even though it is slow and whatnot. Besides that, it’s a car. It has 4 wheels and an engine and it takes me from A to B reliably. I feel like that’s all that matters really for now. I mean some people have cars that break down on them constantly or they have a lot of problems with them. I’m lucky that mine works on a day to day basis and doesn’t have any major problems with it.

And for that, I’m very grateful for my car.

The beauty of the car scene, or at least most of it, is that it helps gather a whole bunch of people together. It doesn’t matter what you drive. You could be driving a Suzuki Altoworks and be friends with a guy with a Nissan GTR. That’s the beauty of it; a group of people who share the same passion and share and spread knowledge.

We shouldn’t hate on the fact that people are driving different cars that are considered “rivals”. Subaru impreza vs Mitsubishi Evo, Toyota Supra vs Acura NSX, etc. we shouldn’t hate at all. Instead, we should just learn to appreciate the cars and the people that are driving them.

The reason why I love my Camry is because fuck you.

Meet Carissa.

I want my Camry to be so low, that I want it to scrape every piece of pavement in North Carolina.

Without breaking the oil pan.

My brother said he was going to buy wheels for the BMW. He’s going to take the stock tires off the stock wheels and put them on the new wheels he’s going to get.

He’s not going to sell the stock wheels either, so I might have to take them off his hands ^_^.

I just looked under the hood of my car to see where I can mount my HID ballasts so I would have an idea where to mount them.

It turns out, there’s absolutely NO space at all for them. The sides are completely taken over by the relay box and something that I can’t figure out. The only place I think I can mount them is on this bottom rail thing, means that i have to mount holes.

Grrrr.
